2022 Chevy Traverse Arrives With Fresh Interior Features, All-New Tech, Automatic Stop-Start Disable Switch

The 2022 Chevy Traverse is poised to arrive on the scene with a fresh attitude and high-tech features! The staff at GM Authority online has always given the scoop on features and additives coming soon, and this past week they informed their readers that the 2022 Traverse will now include an automatic engine stop-start disable switch.

This feature reduces fuel consumption and emissions by automatically stopping the engine when the vehicle comes to a full halt, which will come in handy for all of our Jim Butler Chevy of St. Louis customers when stuck in traffic. Once you remove your foot from the brake pedal, the engine automatically ignites back to full life. This feature works to reduce the harmful emissions that have made the case for the development of electric cars.

The 2020 Chevy Blazer also includes this feature, as well as the 2022 Chevy Equinox, paving the way for a future of cars that will maximize efficiency and environmental safety. The Traverse will also introduce three new exterior color options, including Northsky Blue Metallic, Cherry Red Tintcoat, and Silver Sage Metallic, and production is scheduled to begin on August 2nd, 2021 in Lansing Delta Township, Michigan.

The 2022 model will have a new look that includes fresh lighting elements and four new wheel designs. The interior is updated with new upholstery options and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Additional standard driver-assistance features have been added, including automated emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane-keeping assist. Adaptive Cruise Control is now optional on the LT, RS, and Premier trims, and remains as standard on the High Country model.

Accounting for 12 percent of large 3-row crossover segments in the U.S., the Traverse beat out the Honda Pilot and Volkswagen Atlas in sales numbers. Identical to the current model, the 2022 Traverse will ride on the GM C1 platform’s long wheelbase version, which is also the fundamental ingredient for the second-generation Buick Enclave. The writing staff at Edmunds noted that this incoming model flaunts “much more dynamics than its predecessor, and makes the driving aids amazingly more accessible.”

2022 Corvette Will Boast 3 New Available Hues: The Ideal Year to Embrace Hypersonic

We are certain here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis that one of the absolutely massive and game-changing things to come off the factory lines in recent years has been the all-new C8 Corvette. As it enters its third year of production, the staff at Slashgear took a bit of extra time to highlight three new color choices buyers will have to spice things up in the shade department for this awe-inspiring and very driver-focused automotive work of art.

The wide-awake additive of Caffeine, louder-than-life Amplify Orange, and the barrier-busting Hypersonic Gray are all on deck for imaginative and fun ways to dip the world's most amazing supercar. Power will continue to be derived from a 490-horsepower 6.2-liter V8, and Chevy has officially confirmed that the order process will begin in just one month. 2022 Corvette models will feature standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and new display options for the digital gauge cluster, with the ultra-furious Track mode including a newly-designed tachometer. 2022 buyers can also add the magnetorheological dampers as a special standalone option, without opting for the full-fledged distance of the Z51 Performance Package.

The C8 can make the sprint to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, and complete the quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds at an astonishing 122 mph. This well-performing and enormous engine is also now equipped with a new fuel pump, as well as fuel injectors that allow for running higher fuel pressures. The greatly improved fuel management system allows the cylinder deactivation to fully engage at lower speeds, also providing a boost to fuel economy. You can also opt for the IMSA GTLM Championship Edition package which is limited to 1000 cars and will be available on 3LT models equipped with the Z51 Performance Package.

If your 2022 C8 is not equipped with the Z51 package, you can still order a brand-new low rear spoiler and a Z51 front splitter. The E-Ray model is still expected to be a plug-in hybrid model with All-wheel-drive, and the Z06 will still be powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.5-liter V8 DOHC engine with a wider body, flat-plane crank, and more high-performance suspension. When we excitedly take a hard look at what the future has in store for the Corvette, the current eighth-generation Corvette will remain in production for at least up until the 2026 model year.

After being asked about the fiercest competition, we rounded up a list of what we deemed the models to watch out for, but we can guarantee that each of these costs much more than the 'Vette. The Porsche 911, Audi R8, BMW M4, and Mercedes AMG GT are sworn rivals that have been consistently spotted sizing up the 'Vette's new mid-engine stance and swagger! Expert car reviewers nationwide have claimed that the build is so driver-focused that as soon as you climb inside every instrument is in the optimal position to produce the quickest and corner-hungry drive one can imagine!
