November Service Tip-Tire Pressure and Temperature

We all know that tires are a very important part of your vehicle, and the tire pressure is just as important as the tires themselves. During the change of seasons you may notice your tires looking a little flat. The tire pressure has leaked out but the air molecules inside the tire have shrunk due to the reduced temperature. We recommend checking your tires often during this time of year until the weather stabilizes to ensure that your tires are properly inflated.

Properly inflated tires will not only keep you rolling down the road, but the right amount of air pressure is a necessity in braking, tire wear and handling. Next time you are in for service, ask a Service Advisor to double check your tire pressure if you have any worries about the proper inflation.

Employee Spotlight- Ken Robinson

Ken Robinson, Service Manager, has been with Jim Butler Chevrolet's Service Team a little over 2 years now. Ken joined our team with plenty of automotive industry experience, specifically 23 years in the business. He also moved all over the U.S. for different automotive job opportunities. Finally, Ken decided to move the family back to the Midwest, where the people are just a little bit friendlier than out West. Originally from Michigan, the move back to the Midwest enabled him and his wife to be that much closer to the rest of their families. Although, Detroit isn't the closest drive for a holiday party, it is closer than California.

Ken's family has lived all over, and the interesting thing is that they love vacationing in Branson, MO. It seems that most kids want to take trips to the beach or to the mountains, but The Robinson's all agree on going to Branson for the annual family vacation. Ken even plans on moving down to Branson after he retires. When Ken isn't working or enjoying the outdoors with his family, his time is spent either following the Detroit Red Wings, Duke Basketball or working out.
