2022 Chevy Blazer Features Lower Pricing, Same Sporty Style

One of the reincarnations that has been the most exciting to us is the Blazer, as the spirit of a primed-and-ready icon from yesteryear was revamped to stay competitive and current. For this year’s model, the base engine was dropped, and an exciting list of standard and optional features were added  to attract buyers on the hunt for holiday cheer!

Autoblog.com has already taken a liking to the Blazer, writing several online pieces telling the digital masses about the details they loved. The Trailering Package includes a heavy-duty cooling system, which would be best paired with the powerful V6. With  Camaro-inspired styling and a class-leading standard infotainment system, the Blazer also prides itself on its sharp handling.

On top of a head-turning and bold look, its V6 gives the Blazer the exceptional performance and strength to back up its muscular new looks. Competing with others in its segment such as the Ford Edge, Honda Passport, and Hyundai Sonata, the Blazer comes at an affordable price at the base level with one-of-a-kind style. Acceleration to quickly pass on the freeway is easily attainable with the base turbo engine, and this 2.0-liter inline-four pairs perfectly with the entry-level model’s confident braking.

The 308-horsepower V6 is the ultimate match for the 2022 Blazer’s sporty essence. Active noise cancellation is a great feature keeping unwanted sounds from the engine away from the cabin, and the suspension does a great job absorbing bumps and other surprises in the road. Slotted between the award-winning Equinox and Traverse, this midsize, 2-row SUV boasts 64.2 cubic feet of cargo, ready to stow away anything from a full set of clubs to extra gifts just in time for the holidays!

The RS Trim is where the Blazer flashes its sportiest profile, with a look that has found its way to the norm for a compact SUV. The twin-clutch AWD system paired with the brawny V6 is poised and ready to provide the best shift. Standard features included on the base LT model are an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, and a Wi-Fi hotspot, dual-zone climate control, an HD backup camera, and the added peace of mind that the Chevy Safety Assist Package provides.

How Does the 2022 Chevy Traverse Fare in Comparison to the 2022 Chevy Blazer?

A little friendly holiday competition is always fun. We lined up the  2022 Traverse and 2022 Chevy Blazer to see which one could be the right purchase for you!

The 2022 Chevy Traverse can carry up to eight passengers, boasts an excellent cargo capacity, and enjoys its position as one of the larger entries in the midsize SUV class. It remains as popular as ever and an excellent choice for any growing family while still being smaller than the Suburban.

The 2022 Chevy Blazer is sharp and has an option V6. Drawing inspiration from the Camaro, the 2022 Chevy Blazer has a sporty vibe and is built for on-road handling.

The Daily Driver Vs. Sporty Aesthetic: Even though it's officially classified as midsize, the 2022 Chevy Traverse is one of the largest in its class. The 3.6-liter V6 onboard cranks out over 300 horsepower. Equipped with a towing package, the Traverse can lug nearly 5,000 pounds as a 3-row family SUV that packs a punch. The higher trim levels provide leather upholstery, an upgraded audio system, hands-free power tailgate, and adaptive cruise control.

The Blazer is backed up by a choice of great engines and top-notch handling performance, with the 308-horsepower V6 aligning perfectly with the sporty essence of the model. The Blazer’s looks provide a chiseled look, and it has a towing capability of 4,500 pounds. An 8-inch screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, and the amazing Chevy Safety Assist package are all standard on the 2022 Blazer.

The Blazer could be appropriate for younger drivers or someone otherwise making a new start. However, there is still enough space for a small family to enjoy!. The Traverse could be better for getting larger groups or families where they need to go with plenty of room.

Both are amazing options, and this pair represents everything that customers love so much about Chevy: rugged capability, amazing first impressions, and world-class warranty coverage!

Fourth Quarter’s Sustainable News Flash: Chevy Bolt to Resume Production This Month

GM is resuming production of the Chevy Bolt, which will begin during November. The production will resume at the Orion assembly plant in Michigan after a thorough restart process that will last about two weeks. This announcement came after LG agreed to provide the necessary funding.

With a competitive estimated driving range, high-tech features, and the makings of a true SUV, the 2022 Bolt is ready for the mainstream. The new model offers a more spacious cabin and a 200-horsepower electric motor that is powered by a 65.0-kWh battery pack with a segment-leading 250 mile range on each charge.

When the Bolt is completed and hits the market later this year, the futuristic features are sure to impress! The available semi-autonomous driving system will allow drivers to enjoy hands-free navigation on the highway, paving the way for updates that boost productivity and overall accessibility. One of our favorite features is regenerative braking, which captures kinetic energy and stores it to help with the Bolt’s range.

The Bolt EUV can be charged on a standard 120-volt household outlet. DC fast charging is where the true value of this technology shines through, providing up to 95 miles of range with just a half hour on the charger.

You’ll be able to choose from connectivity features such as Amazon’s Alexa, an integrated Wi-FI hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The Bolt EUV’s smartphone app can be set up to provide charging alerts and connect with nearby networks to assist you with charging.

We know that safety is important every step of the way, and we take pride in offering vehicles that provide the most modern safety features. Key safety features on the Bolt now include automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and available adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode.
