Tahoe Premier Driveway Test Reveals Comfortable and Classy Road Warrior

The 2022 Chevy Tahoe is one of the larger SUVs you can buy, and it is always capable, comfortable, and stylish! The Autoblog.com testing team took the current model Tahoe Premier out on a snowy week, putting the 6.2-liter V8 with  420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque to the test. The included Premium Package beefed up trailering equipment, camera technology, and the addition of a panoramic sunroof as well as rear-seat entertainment.

The large SUV’s complete redesign for the 2021 model year saw the addition of an independent rear suspension, available Duramax Diesel, and improved interiors. The vehicles now have a more modern sense of style, and all have a diverse range of new technology and practical safety features. The Tahoe is more sophisticated than ever before, with the fenders accentuated by new LED lights and the addition of 20-inch polished aluminum wheels.

Everything that has drastically changed for the Tahoe’s newest generation is evident at a quick glance inside, where the Tahoe bests the Yukon with its comfortable and luxurious interior. The high-tech and visual anchor in the dash in the 10.2- inch screen displays Chevy’s Infotainment 3, which is the Google-powered enhancement for this year’s models along with Android Automotive. The seats feature perforated leather and optional rear-seat entertainment. With all of these features, it has definitely earned its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

Residing near the top of USNews.com’s car list for best large SUVs, you’ll love all 3 rows of welcoming seats and more cargo room, and the handling that remains uncomposed when compared to others like it in its segment. Now standard in every 2022 model are front parking sensors, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist, as well as the Buckle to Drive features, which requires both front occupants to buckle up before getting out of park to begin the journey.

Having almost everything in common with the larger-sized Suburban, you’ll be enjoying standard and available features, powertrain combinations, and interior quality. As the Cnet.com review staff claimed after their test drive, this is an SUV that can “haul your family, tow your toys and looks great in front of a fancy restauran.” Come visit us here at Jim Butler Chevrolet and check out how great the Tahoe is going to look escorting you and your family around. There’s still only one Bow Tie Brand swagger, and the 2022 Tahoe brings it big!

Customers Show Massive Love for C8 Corvette’s Aesthetic

Many Corvette fans here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis have appreciated the high demand for the new mid-engine release as it has wowed industry professionals and track hounds since its original debut. When it comes to the new ‘Vette, there are many fans who don’t want to hold their breath for one extra minute. The Autoevolution blog’s writeup last week publicly proclaimed that nearly half of all C8 orders are now up for the open-top variant.

We have all enjoyed watching the C8 become the most accomplished sports car Chevy has ever mass-produced, possessing every item on the checklist of a supercar. It has class-leading looks, performance, appeal, and looks stunning in convertible form. From the moment the Stingray began production, the increase of those desiring the convertible model went from just 17% during 2020 to 49% currently. It’s no surprise that the first-ever folding top’s intensely gained popularity. You can opt to enjoy the sun and wind blasting in with the open-top experience with a quick button’s touch during the summer, all while keeping the other sturdy qualities a fixed roof.

The fourth model year of the C8 Corvette will also come with the blisteringly fast and primo Z06 Performance version, also available in coupe or convertible. Fully realizing Zora Arkus Duntov’s lifelong mid-engine aspirations, the 2020 C8 Corvette was the model that took America’s Sports Car from a straight-line monster that can be made to handle as a powerful sportscar. The world’s supercar giants will pivot toward downsizing and turbocharging to soup up their engines salaciously. Chevy has taken our very successful C8.R GTLM Race Car’s 5.5-liter flat-plane crankshaft DOHC 32-Valve V8 developed with Pratt & Miller and made it immediately roadworthy.

The 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06’s LT6 engine will stake the claim as the world’s largest flat-plane crankshaft V8, and by very enthusiastically producing 670 horsepower at 8,400 RPM. We have also heard insight from the staff on duty with the knowledgeable team at MotorTrend that claims the development crew is new chasing a few final refreshments, seeing to issues like transfer-gear whine and slight engine hesitation.

The team responsible for design and development was very aware that the C8 Stingray has already been bestowed a massive amount of respect but needed to accelerate just a bit quicker and provide razor-sharp handling on every curve. When the test drive took place and the engine’s vibrations rippled through the seats, it was then officially deemed that the Z06 buzzes with extreme excitement and is always ready for more. Sport-mode damping results in tolerable ride quality on just about any road, and the Z06 will always respond to every control input in a faster, more direct, and formidable straight-line fashion!

2022 Chevy Silverado ZR2 Featured on GM Authority Blog Sporting Red Hot Body Panels

The 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 is a longstanding favorite here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis! The staff on duty at GM Authority just ran an awesome feature about the changes and updates the 2022 model will feature. There’s the debut of the Silverado ZR2 trim level, shown here, in all of its glory with Real World Photos. Here you see the Silverado 1500 ZR2 in Red Hot paint available in conjunction with the Jet Black/Graystone interior colorway in a Crew Cab/Short Bed body configuration.

The front end features a unique fascia with a black grille and ZR2 badging, flow tie badge with a red inlay, and black lower bumper treatment. There are a set of red tow hooks located just above a silver-polished skid plate. The 2022 Chevy Silverado ZR2 comes ready on a set of 18-inch aluminum machined face wheels with Black Painted spokes and Oxide Gold painted outer ring accents. Both wheels are wrapped in 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory tires and donning the always-ready to work and haul stance we have become so familiar with when it comes to the Silverado!

Black mirror caps and black door handles are further details in the sides that go well with the Red-Hot body panels. This model in the pictures appears to be equipped with chromed rectangular 6-foot assist steps and MultiMatic DSSV dampers that are providing a bit more of an urban flair. The ZR2 is now offered with the naturally aspirated 6.2-Liter V8 L87 gasoline engine. The refreshed 2022 Silverado can also be had with the turbocharged 2.7-Liter Inline-4 L3B, which now showcases 430 lb-ft of torque. Production is now taking place at the GM Fort Wayne Assembly facility in Indiana, along with the GM Oshawa Plant in Canada.

GM unveiled the refreshed 2022 Silverado 1500 in September, pulling the sheets on a vigorous update for the light-duty pickup that introduces heated front seats, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and rear and front park assist. The Motor Trend team was impressed with the 2.7-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that accelerates quickly and smoothly. The 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter engines pack a powerful punch! As you are destined to keep the party going off-road, the ZR2 receives several exterior enhancements such as a unique skid plate package and a high-approach steel front bumper that improves the truck’s all-important approach angle.

The 2022 Chevy Silverado can top up to 13,300 pounds when equipped with the turbodiesel engine and has long had its sights on competition such as the Ford F-150 and Ram 1500. We believe that the sleek design, 13.4-inch touchscreen, and nine different trim levels to reflect and originate your own taste and stance on the jobsite weekend lake trip, or frequently beckoning campground!
