The Large-Sized League’s Leader: Winning Traits of the 2023 Chevy Tahoe RST Performance Edition

We have learned over time here at Jim Butler Chevy of Saint Louis that America will always have massive amounts of love for an excellent and large-sized SUV! If it checks all the boxes as far as being able to get the family around and provide ample amount of speed and capability, we are usually backed up with the sheer number of individuals who would love to test drive it. The SUV that is currently the best-selling on the market is our very own Chevy Tahoe, and we compiled a list of ten awesome things about it you can enjoy courtesy of the Performance Edition.

Holiday Season-Ready Low Price:

Large SUVs are not always known for being the least expensive vehicles around. However, opting for the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe RST performance edition can effectively save you thousands of dollars and offer assistance for the wise allocating of your monthly budget. Power is derived from the optional 6.2-liter V8, and the final sticker price is much cheaper than some hefty rivals such as the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.

The Epitome of Segment-Leading Performance:

After you add the 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe RST Performance Edition, it's not just like casually stepping into a new trim and then brushing it off. It packs such a performance wallop designed to help owners customize their RST that you’ll be thrilled to leap off the line every time. There is a noticeably much more fierce output courtesy of the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8, seriously upgraded exhaust, more rugged chassis, and track-grade brakes.

Heaping on the Headstrong Horsepower:

The 2023 Chevy Tahoe RST Performance Edition now comes standard with the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine which cranks out 433 very capable horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque. this boasts 30 more horsepower and seven additional pounds of torque compared to the standard RST model. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, this match made in speed lover’s heaven will possess noticeably more grunt and bravado.

The Far-Reaching Reign of the Fastest Tahoe In Existence:

The RST Performance Edition has the bragging rights of a 5.78-second zero to 60 time, along with a quarter-mile spring of 14.2 seconds. There is a certain kind of customer that is going to be enamored with the fastest Tahoe money can buy, with the base level RST getting to 60 mph in 5.95 seconds flat. The Tahoe is not just for the family-hauling duty even though it’s so good at doing so: true enthusiasts that love the best bits about thrilling driving will be delighted!

King of the Hill in the Braking Department:

Since the Tahoe is already doing so well in the speed department with the RST Performance Edition, Chevy chose to include larger Brembo brakes with the package. This provides the ideal stopping power for all the torque-rich and corner-savvy speed you’ll build up and lets the Tahoe reside in a segment all by itself at the true and well-earned top of the ladder.

The Smooth Dynamics of a Reworked Suspension:

The Performance Edition package has an even greater boost courtesy of its detailed suspension improvement. This is primo expert-level engineering that adjusts the suspension and chassis components good enough for police-grade pursuit on the PPV package, seeing many of its dynamics fine-tuned by this gifted team who went to work on the dampers, springs, and anti-roll bar. Ride height is lowered by .4 inches in the front and .8 inches in the rear, to keep the RST performance Edition as rooted as possible while you enjoy the ride.

“It’s Rec Time!” Top-Notch Towing Ability:

When the weekend calls and you are ready to get far away from the pressures of your workspace, you can enjoy the confidence that the Tahoe RST Performance Edition will offer up as towing provision. Just as the base RST that is equipped with the 6.2-liter V8 gas engine and 4WD, the Performance Edition shows up at the table (and trenches of the trail!) with a 7,600-lb capacity. If it’s even more towing capability you’re after, the NHT Max Trailering Package and rear-wheel drive provide enough grunt for an 8,400-lb. capacity.

Family-Friendly Liftoff & High-End Luxury:

The 2023 Tahoe RST Performance Edition warmly welcomes you inside with lavish materials for very comfortable cruising. Chevy's luxury package offers the cold weather comfort of a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, power-folding third seats, and memory settings for the seats and side mirrors. Consumers are wanting screens that are larger and larger by the minute, and this upgrade throws in the sweet visual benefit of a 10.2-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Road and Track’s Team Praise 2023 Corvette Z06 For “Having a Presence Sitting Still that Cars 3 Times its Price Wish They Had”

There have been many cars that have illustriously gone down in history as truly unbelievable and game-changing, and command attention effortlessly each time you turn the ignition. It could be on just a typical cruise down the street for the things you forgot to pick up during your last time out, or a fully-fledged steam blowing off session when it’s 3 PM on a Saturday and it’s time to embrace showing off: the capable and memorable work of automotive art in the form of the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 hardly needs an introduction.

Here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis we have long admired this legendary car that has set the pace at the Indy 500, graced many movie screens, and has seen many repeat customers thrilled with its performance choose to snatch up another. The Road and Track auto blogging team were immediately lamenting that they were in the presence of an “unbelievable and inherently special thing”, loving how it performs in a completely over-the-top and raucous fashion at any speed.

Going on to claim that it has a “presence just sitting there that cars three times its price wish they had”, there were a few mixed reviews when they had gotten their hands on the C8 Corvette in 2019 but had then loved that Chevy had finally put this longstanding legend on a mid-engined platform. Even with how new and substantially different everything felt, it didn’t feel completely foreign even though it had been a drastic change from every model before it.

The benefits of the architecture are allowed to fully shine once you are working with more power, courtesy of the brand-new 670-horsepower V8. There are bigger wheels and tires, a much wider body that makes for a menacing appearance, and a far less awkward stature than the base-level entry. The overall drive and sound are purely exotic, putting out a higher-pitched note than the competing and poised-for-road-gain Mustang GT350. Their test car was loaded with every extra option, including the expertly tweaked aerodynamics of the Z07 package.

The crew also aggressively enjoyed the addition of carbon brakes, 20 x 10-inch front and 21 x 13-inch rear carbon fiber wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cub 2R tires. The front end proved to be incredibly responsive, with the 40:60 weight distribution offering a huge boost with the agile and fiercely on-point turning power. This distribution also allows for maximum power with minimum breakaway effect, and the Performance Traction Management provides utter track mastery modes in the form of wet, dry, sport, and race settings.

On the shorter layout of the famed Monticello track, this Z06 was nailing 140+ mph and demonstrated downright amazing brake performance with numerous stops from double-digit speeds. All this available speed is very consistent, and any driver still feels 110% engaged even if you are well below breakneck limits. Even at just half throttle, you get to experience raw and very true character, but it will also transfer all this fantastic performance seamlessly from the track to the road. Confidently putting on the map the many reasons for which the mid-engine layout makes sense, the 2023 Z06 is a supercar and the stuff that high-speed dreams are made of in just as many possible ways as any 4-wheeled creation ever could be!
