2023 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban Deliver Dynamic Pair With Optional Duramax Diesel

2023 Chevy Suburban

When the Autoblog staff set out to review the 2023 Chevy Suburban and Tahoe, they were prepared to closely check out all the amazing features and engine stats that make this dynamic pair of large size family haulers here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis so popular. The optional Duramax diesel provides the same amount of torque as the sensational 6.2-liter V8, and has the rock-solid reputation as still offering up a very quiet ride for a diesel counterpart.

Adaptive cruise control is now available as standard on the High-Country trim for this exciting pair of heavy haulers, while both the Premier and High Country will now see the availability of the Super Cruise hands-free driving technology. The Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are both now getting an interior that's completely different from the Silverado, and every model but the base Tahoe 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system runs on Android automotive software. The system does an excellent job of integrating Google’s complete carry-on luggage quite well. You can also offer a pair of 12.6-inch screens mounted on the headrests to ideally entertain the rear passengers during the trip.

After they both were completely redesigned two years ago, both titles gained some extra length as well as the smooth-riding independent rear suspension. The pair now both have the same amount of third-row space that are both just a bit smaller than their competitors waiting to pounce, Ford and Jeep. Behind the third-row seats, the Tahoe has 25.5 cubic feet of space, while the Suburban impresses with 41.5 cubic feet.

2023 Chevy Tahoe

These full-size SUVs have long been the perfect choice for growing families and businesses that wanted nothing but the best for transportation. Now they can choose from three capable and class-leading engines. The base engine is a naturally aspirated 5.3-liter V8 cranking out 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and offering the option of either rear wheel or 4-wheel drive. Regardless of which caliber of engine you choose, the Tahoe and Suburban both net 15 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, and 17 mpg combined.

What many diehard car fans and admirers of XXL SUVs and trucks can’t help but love is the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 poised under the hood of the Z71, RST, Premier, and High Country. When this engine was situated inside of a 2019 Chevy Silverado, it was named to Ward’s “10 best engines list” and employs industry-leading Dynamic Fuel Management to cut down on gas-guzzling without sacrificing any of its stellar performance. Using as few as two cylinders to properly propel the full-size pickup down the highway, it’s a true beast meeting every demand you’ll have in these two awesome vehicles as well.

Another unique additive to these full-size SUVs is the 3.0-liter inline-six, which doles out 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, nailing down stellar EPA gas ratings at 21 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined. One of the most important traits that buyers inquire about regarding trucks is the towing capacity, as knowing just how much you can pull can make or break your next camping adventure or spontaneous haul: these two have a towing capacity of between 7,500 and 8,500 lbs depending on body style, engine, and drivetrain.

2022 Chevy Trailblazer: The Ideal Crossover for the Cutting-Edge Young Adult

2022 Chevy Trailblazer

With customers getting ready for back-to-school season, many are looking for a vehicle that is perfect for every family member here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis. After investigating every crucial fine detail of each model, many look to a crossover SUV. Those of us that have been driving for years may expect a lot from a car and rely on a diverse performance result and assurance that the “little and large extras” are there to offer up excitement during every drive.

Some younger individuals are looking for the vehicle that will safely get them to their illustrious (and trendy!) point while enabling them to have a bit of money left over for tablets, phones, and “whatever that new brand of cool shoes is this week”! The 2022 Chevy Trailblazer was reported by Motor Biscuit as being “perfect for the younger driver” not just for its lower price, but its predictable reliability, great fuel economy, and segment-leading safety.

The writer for this review claimed that the Trailblazer experience reminded them of “the very accessible models that need the windows rolled down, a loud stereo, and enough room for friends”. The Trailblazer also provides plenty of enjoyment for spurts of freedom between finals and soccer practice. The 2022 Trailblazer received a Top Safety Pick Plus from the IIHS and comes with forward collision warning and city speed automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection as standard. An optional package can also provide extra high-tech protection in the form of blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning, both essential for any generation with good intentions that can still be prone to distraction!

Locating an inexpensive car or crossover SUV is just about impossible in the current market, and the prices of used cars have risen at a quite alarming pace. To illustrate how practical and useful the Trailblazer is, writer Peter Corn embarked on a 200-mile round trip from the Big Apple to the Adirondack Mountains. He immediately noticed the uniquely modern style fit for any hip-and-young individual behind the wheel, and the practicality of the dash that provides everything laid out right where you’d expect and need it. The power source is the 155-hp 1.3-liter turbocharged engine, which we can wholeheartedly guarantee is thoroughly approved for an antsy parent.

The 2022 Trailblazer bears the achievement that will warrant it worthy for many right now with its EPA mileage rating, which is a combined 27 mpg. Buying your teen’s first car is a decision that you want to put a good deal of time and research towards, and we are confident that the Trailblazer will assure a healthy amount of focus on the uneventful arrival for the journey at hand. As the backpacks are packed and the class schedules are closely looked at, we agree that it may be time to leave the remarkable and menacing drag strip-ready models on the sidelines for just a few more responsible years!

2023 Chevy Colorado LT and WT Lead Lineup’s Pack with Premium Hauling Tech and Outstanding Engine Offerings

2023 Chevy Colorado Line-Up

As the sights and sounds of summer that we at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis look forward to all year are waning down and the back-to-school supply purchases are on everyone’s to-do list, many of our customers are starting their search for a replacement truck or their first brand-new one! Look no further than the officially announced 2023 Chevy Colorado, with production expected to begin early next year starting with the LT and WT trim levels.

Each 2023 Chevy Colorado trim model will feature the same engine with different output levels on each model. The LT and WT trims offer up the 2.7-liter Turbo engine, providing 237 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. There is also the choice of upgrading to the 2.7-liter Turbo Plus engine, putting out 310 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. This midsize marvel sees a max trailering ability of 3,500 lbs, increasing to 7,700 lbs for the Turbo and Turbo Plus engines.

The 2023 Colorado will come equipped with up to 10 camera views, providing more ways to keep an eye on your moving or stationary rig than any of the competing models. These can be accessed from the incredibly responsive 11.3-inch infotainment screen inside the cab, allowing you to have the ultimate in high-tech assistance with large loads and security when patches of bad weather appear.

Hitch view, hitch guidance, and the included trailering app all make each stage of the hauling game that much simpler. Standard for the WT trim are up to 17 tie-downs ready to go in the bed. There are also four stake pockets as well as multiple in-bed pockets for added storage, with grooves in the bed wall to make bikes and motorcycles fair game as recreational carry-on. Other additions that make things easier for camping, contracting, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors are a 110-volt power outlet, spray-in bed liner, and remote tailgate.

We love that the redesign for the current model focuses on adding modern conveniences, an expansion of off-road trim levels, and an overall sizable boost in capability. The new chassis stretches the wheelbase by 3.1 inches compared to the outgoing short bed crew cab, and each trim now comes with a comprehensive suite of active safety features. Official production begins in the first half of 2023 here in Wentzville, Mo. Stay updated on any feature changes and exciting news regarding this massively-popular truck here on the blog!
