2022 Chevy Trailblazer: The Ideal Crossover for the Cutting-Edge Young Adult

2022 Chevy Trailblazer

With customers getting ready for back-to-school season, many are looking for a vehicle that is perfect for every family member here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis. After investigating every crucial fine detail of each model, many look to a crossover SUV. Those of us that have been driving for years may expect a lot from a car and rely on a diverse performance result and assurance that the “little and large extras” are there to offer up excitement during every drive.

Some younger individuals are looking for the vehicle that will safely get them to their illustrious (and trendy!) point while enabling them to have a bit of money left over for tablets, phones, and “whatever that new brand of cool shoes is this week”! The 2022 Chevy Trailblazer was reported by Motor Biscuit as being “perfect for the younger driver” not just for its lower price, but its predictable reliability, great fuel economy, and segment-leading safety.

The writer for this review claimed that the Trailblazer experience reminded them of “the very accessible models that need the windows rolled down, a loud stereo, and enough room for friends”. The Trailblazer also provides plenty of enjoyment for spurts of freedom between finals and soccer practice. The 2022 Trailblazer received a Top Safety Pick Plus from the IIHS and comes with forward collision warning and city speed automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection as standard. An optional package can also provide extra high-tech protection in the form of blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning, both essential for any generation with good intentions that can still be prone to distraction!

Locating an inexpensive car or crossover SUV is just about impossible in the current market, and the prices of used cars have risen at a quite alarming pace. To illustrate how practical and useful the Trailblazer is, writer Peter Corn embarked on a 200-mile round trip from the Big Apple to the Adirondack Mountains. He immediately noticed the uniquely modern style fit for any hip-and-young individual behind the wheel, and the practicality of the dash that provides everything laid out right where you’d expect and need it. The power source is the 155-hp 1.3-liter turbocharged engine, which we can wholeheartedly guarantee is thoroughly approved for an antsy parent.

The 2022 Trailblazer bears the achievement that will warrant it worthy for many right now with its EPA mileage rating, which is a combined 27 mpg. Buying your teen’s first car is a decision that you want to put a good deal of time and research towards, and we are confident that the Trailblazer will assure a healthy amount of focus on the uneventful arrival for the journey at hand. As the backpacks are packed and the class schedules are closely looked at, we agree that it may be time to leave the remarkable and menacing drag strip-ready models on the sidelines for just a few more responsible years!

2023 Chevy Colorado LT and WT Lead Lineup’s Pack with Premium Hauling Tech and Outstanding Engine Offerings

2023 Chevy Colorado Line-Up

As the sights and sounds of summer that we at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis look forward to all year are waning down and the back-to-school supply purchases are on everyone’s to-do list, many of our customers are starting their search for a replacement truck or their first brand-new one! Look no further than the officially announced 2023 Chevy Colorado, with production expected to begin early next year starting with the LT and WT trim levels.

Each 2023 Chevy Colorado trim model will feature the same engine with different output levels on each model. The LT and WT trims offer up the 2.7-liter Turbo engine, providing 237 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. There is also the choice of upgrading to the 2.7-liter Turbo Plus engine, putting out 310 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. This midsize marvel sees a max trailering ability of 3,500 lbs, increasing to 7,700 lbs for the Turbo and Turbo Plus engines.

The 2023 Colorado will come equipped with up to 10 camera views, providing more ways to keep an eye on your moving or stationary rig than any of the competing models. These can be accessed from the incredibly responsive 11.3-inch infotainment screen inside the cab, allowing you to have the ultimate in high-tech assistance with large loads and security when patches of bad weather appear.

Hitch view, hitch guidance, and the included trailering app all make each stage of the hauling game that much simpler. Standard for the WT trim are up to 17 tie-downs ready to go in the bed. There are also four stake pockets as well as multiple in-bed pockets for added storage, with grooves in the bed wall to make bikes and motorcycles fair game as recreational carry-on. Other additions that make things easier for camping, contracting, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors are a 110-volt power outlet, spray-in bed liner, and remote tailgate.

We love that the redesign for the current model focuses on adding modern conveniences, an expansion of off-road trim levels, and an overall sizable boost in capability. The new chassis stretches the wheelbase by 3.1 inches compared to the outgoing short bed crew cab, and each trim now comes with a comprehensive suite of active safety features. Official production begins in the first half of 2023 here in Wentzville, Mo. Stay updated on any feature changes and exciting news regarding this massively-popular truck here on the blog!

Just as Modern Folklore Would Suggest: Buyers Favor Legendary Corvette Dressed in Red

The famed and much-loved Chevy Corvette is now entering the 2023 model year, and all the finer points about pricing and trim details were released earlier this month! The National Corvette Museum gave the final production data for the 2022 model, and their findings currently report a grand total of 25,831 of the Corvettes were produced last year. 52% of those were coupes and the other 47.9% are those whose owners opted to blissfully have the top down in the form of a convertible.

Not surprising to many die-hard fans and hardcore ‘Vette enthusiasts, torch red was the most popular color choice for 2022, with Arctic white coming in second and hypersonic Gray respectively in third. Even though red cars can draw a bit more unwanted attention from those who brandish the speed radar gun, waiting to instill law and order on Missouri Roads, it’s simply way too striking to pass up!

As we looked over statistics here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis to pinpoint other very popular attributes of this amazing and always-on-the-fast-side vehicle, they also showed that the most popular performance package was the Z51, which was used on 68.6 percent of all produced cars. Next year’s model is available in 12 exterior colors, with the Corvette Convertible boasting the same. 8 of these colors come as standard if you wish, and 4 are available at an extra cost.

For 70 years, the Corvette has held the title of America’s premier sports car, and its recent switch to a mid-engined layout perfectly follows through on this Detroit icon's leap forward to compete against supercars such as Lamborghini and Ferrari. Production of this inaugural mid-engined marvel will begin this summer, and it has not been officially announced yet when the track-tuned and land-speed record-class version of the C8 will be available on supportive and eager lots like ours here at Jim Butler.

The Z06 Package is another feature-enhancing addition to the Corvette that adds fine-tuned changes with suspension, aero packages, engine upgrades, and more aggressive styling elements. With the engine now situated behind the driver, the 2023 Corvette Z06 comes with a bespoke 5.5-liter V8 that has the amazing exhaust note that no model before it has ever been able to come close to.

The twin-cam dry-sump LT6 can spin up to a redline of 8600 rpm and cranks out a brutish and beyond noteworthy 670 horsepower. Paired with a paddle-shifted, 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle gearbox, getting up to 60 mph takes just 2.6 seconds. It’s also equipped  with our standard 60,000-mile powertrain warranty.

No matter what color you choose for your new Corvette, this iconic and always-memorable model is on track to effortlessly keep its fan base, and enthusiastically generate new followers at every adrenaline-laced new milestone!

Jim Butler Auto Group President Brad Sowers Quoted by Yahoo! About Chevy’s Competition-Crushing Electric Blazer

New releases, award-winning models, thrilling horsepower and torque reports, and much more are streaming across our screens every day as the industry gets back to normal. The latest in these developments is the electric Chevy Blazer SUV.

This all-new EV is going to be vital to Chevrolet’s efforts to rival Tesla in the U.S. EV market. Yahoo! caught up with Jim Butler Auto Group President Brad Sowers for an expert opinion on the new electric Blazer and how it would perform in the most crowded segment in the market right now.

“People are very excited about not just the Blazer, but the Equinox,” Sowers said. He also said that the Midwest region isn’t always the first place to adopt new trends and technology, but these models coming soon will prove just how excellent and feature-rich the future will be.

Over the next few years, the segment will define the true champions. The electric SUV market in the United States is projected to more than double in size over the next four years, and there could be more than 90 models all vying for the attention and loyalty of those hitting the road with their hard-earned paychecks. Tesla's Model Y is the best-selling electric SUV currently, and Chevrolet hopes to compete with the Blazer and Equinox.

GM chief executive Mary Barra has the lofty goal of delivering 400,000 brand new electric vehicles in North America over the next two years. With the delay due to the pandemic, production of some newer EV models has just begun. This is the first time that the Super Sport badges will join forces with an electric vehicle from Chevy, and it is expected to ride on GM’s Ultium platform, which is what is found underneath the Cadillac Lyriq and GMC’s Hummer line.

All of us here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis are eagerly waiting to check out the all-electric Blazer’s Camaro-inspired styling, as well as its sensational planet-saving manners and practicality!

2022 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Provides Pure Duramax Diesel Load-Conquering Swagger on Each Trim Level

All of us here at Jim Butler Chevy of Saint Louis agree with the Motorbiscuit.com auto blogging staff when they said that it feels so good to be told “yes” when you can ask if you have a specific feature at your disposal for the vehicle you want to test drive or take home. No matter which version of the Chevy Silverado 3500 HD you choose, you can now brandish the trusty and hard-delivering Duramax diesel engine.

It's the upgraded option that delivers the power, raw performance factor, in ultimately long-lasting durability you want in any new heavy-duty truck. The available body styles are a regular cab, double cab, and Crew Cab, in which the Duramax is offered across 4 trims. You can select the work truck model to help you move a huge trailer filled with the necessary equipment to the job site, or the High Country trim that makes your passengers enjoy luxurious elements when you're out for some R&R on the lake. The Duramax engine exists as a marvelous 6.6-liter turbocharged diesel V8 that cranks out 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque.

It is mated to an amazing 10-speed Allison automatic transmission that directs power to the rear wheels, in every trim now offers 4-wheel drive except the High Country which already has it included as part of its standard package. So many truck owners are righteously excited about the big power that this engine delivers, making it simple to have a gigantic load in tow. Your limits won’t exceed until you hit an astonishing 20,000 pounds with a conventional trailer hitch or 35,500 pounds with a fifth-wheel or gooseneck in place. The payload rating is 7,442 pounds, which means that hauling very heavy equipment around won’t be difficult in the least.

Most trucks out there are on duty to carry heavy loads and offer up great bed configurations to accommodate tall items for hauling. GM does something a little extra special with its trucks, as the Multi-Flex Tailgate offers six different functions for using it as a load stop, surface for getting sawing or assembly work completed, or bed step. There’s also an integrated Bluetooth speaker to provide the ultimate thumpin’ sounds while you choose to have a tailgate extravaganza or need some audio inspiration before lugging away some fresh-cut logs.

When you are in dire need of an XXL size truck to handle monstrous jobs, the Chevy Silverado 3500 HD is an excellent choice with a variety of trims and options. Once you mix in the added grunt of the Duramax diesel engine and the abilities of a fifth-wheel trailer hookup, there really is next to nothing you can’t do with this prime polling machine. Diesel engines last among the longest of anything it ever built, and your new truck could easily last for a few very exciting decades.

The Turbo 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine cranks out 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, and the one we would favor is the 1.3-liter 3-cylinder that ups the ante with 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. The Trailblazer can now be equipped with either a front-wheel-drive or AWD traction-enhancing system, with selectable driver modes including options for Sport, Snow, Normal, and said AWD.

These days we understand that so many customers are wondering about fuel efficiency, as prices have recently surged unpleasantly at the pump. The 2023 Trailblazer nails down an estimated fuel economy of up to 29 city/33 highway mpg, and has a maximum towing capacity of 1,000 pounds. Everyone driving today has long been fascinated with technology innovations and updates that make things more comfortable and easier, and the 2023 Trailblazer does not disappoint!

There is also the benefit of driver assistance technology features such as automatic emergency braking, rear view camera for the tighter spots on grocery runs, and the benefit of lane-keep assist.

It's always nice to generate the best of eyebrow-raising compliments while you drive by quickly, and this new crossover recipe offers three new exterior paint color options including Sterling Gray metallic, Nitro Yellow Metallic, and the calming and lucent Fountain Blue. We are excited to have you along for a test drive in one of the most economical and very feature-rich SUVs on the market: prepare the snacks, sunscreen, and sneakers for an abundance of summertime fun!

Iconic Corvette Pace Car Collection Finds Ecstatic new Owner for $1.375 Million During Annual Indy Spring Classic

Last week during the Annual Indy Spring Classic, the Mecum Auctions saw for the 35th time over 2,500 vehicles cross its legendary block. The total revenue for the event topped over $126 million, with the claim to the third most expensive lot sold excitedly made for the Chevy Corvette Pace Car Collection that changed hands for $1,375,000. Any diehard Corvette fan here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis would be amazed by this collection of 19 Corvette Pace Cars, with the Corvette namesake enjoying Indy 500 pace car status more times than any other model.

Several of these very special and memorable pace cars were reproduced and refined as replicas as the public was allowed in on the bidding war, and others were built specifically with this legendary and historic event in mind. Owner Dr. Richard Foster has long been a dedicated fan of the Corvette Pace Cars, and his collection included six Corvette Pace Car Editions, 8 Indy Motor Speedway authorized replicas, and two Official Pace Cars.

Four of the six Corvette Pace Car Editions have now received honors from Bloomington Gold or the National Corvette Restorers Society, with one model in particular showing less than one hundred miles on the odometer. The earliest car in this lot was a 1978 model with less than fifty miles on the odometer, shining brightly as a Bloomington Gold Benchmark Certified unrestored example. As you move up through the 1980’s, the 1986 Chevy Corvette Pace Car convertible in very memorable bright yellow with a black cloth top was the second oldest entry in the group.

Then, you move up the line to a Bloomington Gold Benchmark Certified 1995 Chevy Corvette Pace Car Edition, boasting a Dark Purple finish along with Arctic While with only 121 miles on it as new. This one has an awesome maroon hue and is simply one of a kind as far as the spirit of the ‘Vette that we have all long had much love for!

Another amazing number from this arsenal with only TEN miles on the odometer is the 2003 Corvette Pace Car 50th Anniversary Coupe, which is painted in Anniversary Red, and is also Bloomington Gold Certified.

One of the most classic scenes of any Corvette group ever is also included in this troupe: it's’ the 2006 Chevy Corvette Pace Car, with Arctic White paint dip and red and blue stripes, as one of only six official Pace Cars built for this occasion.

2013 marked the end for C6 Generation Corvettes and the flagship 50th Anniversary ZR1 present in this sold lot boasts 638 horsepower and a six-speed manual. As a 60th Anniversary version, it was finished in Arctic White with Blue Diamond leather interior and has just 34 miles driven, another modern marvel that lives and breathes every single amazing and noteworthy essence the Corvette was meant to mirror.

Another one of the unforgettable and picturesque numbers in the collection was the C7 Corvette finished in Laguna Blue, with only 9 miles on the odometer. This is one Corvette that in every single way emulates what a track car should appear as: positioned, prime, and glistening at every single visual angle!
