Chevrolet Traverse named in Best Family Cars

Seven Chevy’s Earn Top Awards At Jim Butler Chevrolet

Seven vehicles at Jim Butler Chevrolet in St. Louis have been given awards by Edmonds.com. The Chevy Traverse and Corvette Stingray were named Top Rated vehicles while the Colorado, Camaro, Impala, Silverado 1500, and Tahoe were named Most Popular for their segment. The Traverse and Corvette Stingray also received the Most Popular award.

200 cars did a standardized test loop and went to Edmund’s test track for instrumented testing in controlled conditions. Out of these 200 vehicles the Chevrolet Traverse and Corvette Stingray earned an “A” rating to receive the Top Rated Vehicles award.

The new Cruze Diesel had some tough competition competing against the Audi A6, A7, A8 Q5 and Q7; BMW 328,535 and X5; Jeep Grand Cherokee; Mercedes-Benze E250, GLK250, ML350 and GL350; Porsche Cayenne; and Volkswagen Beetle and Beetle Convertible, Golf, Jetta, Jetta Sportswagen, Passat and Touareg.

The 2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel comes equipped with a 2.0L clean turbo-diesel-powered engine that is all-new for 2014. 2015 Chevrolet Trax Hits US Market in 2015

By popular demand the 2015 Chevrolet Trax will be arriving in the US and at Jim Butler Chevrolet in St. Louis in 2015. So far 90,000 Trax have been sold in 60 countries since its launch in 2012.

The 2015 Trax small-SUV will have the only seven-inch color touchscreen in the segment with a MyLink infotainment system. This will have a 4G LTE connection from OnStar allowing up to seven portable devices to share a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Equipped with 10 standard airbags the Chevy Trax has more than any in its segment also offering the segments only rear-seat-mounted thorax air bag. Other tech features include a rearview camera and park assist.

Although the 2015 Chevy Trax is considered a small SUV, both the passenger and second row of seats fold flat offering 43.1 cubic feet of cargo space. You can even store a ladder or lumber in the passenger compartment!

The new Chevy Trax has a 1.4L turbocharged engine good for 138 horsepower and 148 Ib-ft of torque with a Hydra-Matic 6T40 six-speed automatic transmission and TAPShift control.
