This year Jim Butler Chevrolet has teamed up with Gateway
180 of St. Louis to raise awareness and give back to those in need. Gateway 180 is reversing
homelessness they are a valuable resource for women, children and families
experiencing the unimaginable burden of homelessness. They provide safe, nurturing
emergency shelter and supportive housing services designed to empower and lead
these families back to independent and permanent housing.
Starting on Monday 11/23/2015 we will be collecting much
needed children’s items, we will have a designated Silverado on the showroom
floor to hold all the items until Saturday 12/19/2015 please place your donated
items on the back of the truck and if you have any questions, please see Robin
Forsythe.
The items being collected are as follows: diapers, pull-ups,
formula, combs, brushes, bath towels, washcloths, socks, underwear, and
educational games. These basic necessities are very much needed and will help
bring comfort to the children and families at Gateway 180. If you rather give a
monetary donation, please see Robin and we will have Santa’s little helpers go
shopping for you & place those items in the back of the Silverado on the
sales floor.
Also make sure to ask a sales associate on how to get your hands on a special edition ornament to benefit Gateway 180.
