Sleek New Styling And RS Trim Addition For 2021 Chevy Equinox Showcased on Motor1.com

One of the first official glimpses of the revised Equinox for 2021 was granted for the masses at the beginning of the year when images of the crossover emerged over various Chinese media portals. These were actually showing the CN-spec model, but it comes as no surprise the North American model appears pretty much the same as in the photos released today by the company with the 2021 MY. On the new version the headlights are now interestingly split into two, and the reshaped grille extends onto the sides of the front fascia offering up a sporty and aggressive stance.

In the rear Chevy has revised the taillight graphics, and the model as a whole sees the launching of a new RS trim. As this week's feature on Motor1.com depicts, this ups the ante with a glossy black front grille complemented by other dark accents. The roof rails, badges, and bowties all come in black, as do the quad exhaust tips and 19-inch alloy wheels. The cabin is for the most part black, with contrasting red stitching and a unique gear shifter made special for the RS.

All of us here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis also highly encourage you to check out the flagship Premier trim: with this you acquire the glossy black grille, but here it is combined with chrome inserts. There are also brand-new 19-inch alloy wheels, along with a different type of stitching on the inside where the center console sports a pleasantly menacing and glossy black finish. The model is slated to go on sale this fall, with a much larger availability of safety systems seen across every trim level.
Engine options are expected to still be the 1.5 and 2.0-liter turbocharged variants, paired respectively with a 6-speed automatic and nine-speed transmission. You'll have the choice of front or all-wheel drive, and we guarantee that you're going to love the influence taken from our longstanding and lavish pony, the Camaro. You'll enjoy the benefit of knowing you'll always be under watchful eyes of top-notch safety tech as the option to equip with a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, automatic parking assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert, front and rear park sensors, and lane change alert are reasons why the Equinox received a five-star overall rating from the NHTSA.

The Equinox remains huge on value: we are very excited about the fact that the base L Trim comes standard with features like automatic lights, LED daytime running lights, heated mirrors, keyless entry and ignition, high-adjustable front seats, Bluetoosh, OnStar with 4G LTE connectivty and Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch touchscreen, and six- speaker audio system. We realize that not every single consumer out there is ready to add extras to their choice to make it luxurious, and Chevy has a longstanding commitment to assure that those on a budget looking for a daily driver will still be rewarded with wonderful features!
