2023 Chevy Trailblazer Primed for Polar Express’s Snow-Capped Route

2023 Chevy Trailblazer

Crossover SUVs that are economical, yet feature advanced technology are in high demand. This holiday season, Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis has already seen many festive test drives and wish list additions! The sharp styling of the hot new 2023 Chevy Trailblazer is the first element that jumps out of the holiday-tree-lined landscape to make a huge statement! With extra touches to the interior, we assure that no one on board for the festive jolly will end up feeling cramped.

There are a pair of peppermint and holly-friendly engine choices to think about as you are planning for your New Year’s vehicle dreams to come true. Beginning with the 137-horsepower 1.2-Liter and finishing with the 155-horsepower 1.3-liter at the top, both options boast standard front-wheel drive. The higher-powered 1.3-liter is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and offers the choice of all-wheel drive. The Herald.net drive testing team drove an RS equipped with the 1.3-liter engine and all-wheel drive, which sits at the top of the selection of LS, LT, and Active trims.

There are plenty of great standard features included on the RS, with the Technology Package coming in with a sizzle, packed with its extra stocking stuffers. Among these are the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-speaker Bose premium audio, wireless device charging, adaptive cruise control, and LED headlamps that made the testing crew’s night drive seamless and thrilling. Extra passengers joining you for Holiday activities receive a generous 39.4 inches of rear seat legroom and the Trailblazer offers 25.3 cubic feet of the cargo area to load with presents.

EPA ratings for the RS model with the 155-horsepower engine and all-wheel drive reside at 28 mpg combined, with several mph higher for the 137-horsepower engine equipped with front-wheel drive. As an added touch, you can choose from new paint colors such as Nitro Yellow Metallic, Sterling Grey Metallic, and Fountain Blue. Edmunds.com claimed after test drives of their own that the 2023 Trailblazer is “exceedingly competent at everything it does”, and easily maintains itself positioned a half-step ahead within its increasingly competitive class.

They had the privilege of testing the 2023 Trailblazer in the Active trim level, which proved to be competent and adept while navigating day-to-day traffic. The 9-speed automatic transmission kept the engine poised at a sweet spot while accelerating, and this Active trim level also features tires that are better fit for off-road challenges. You’ll also be enjoying a very high level of comfort on the highway, with the always useful and excellent feature of road and wind noise dampening in your favor.

One option that all of us here at Jim Butler guarantee is worth it is the panoramic sunroof, allowing you to fully enjoy your surroundings during each cruise. The high-definition backup camera even does a great job in low light, and front and rear seat passengers will be able to enjoy their gadgets on the go, courtesy of the available USB-A and USB-C ports. While you’re here spreading the holiday cheer, we’ll also keep you in the loop regarding our five years/60,000 -mile roadside assistance, and conveniently offered year of free maintenance.
