Motor Trend Renders 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV “Most Budget-Friendly Bargain Among New Cars”

2023 Chevy Bolt EUV

Last week the Motor Trend staff looked directly at the new Chevy Bolt EUV as it is surely getting the love from buyers it deserves. We recognized the high-tech achievement here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis and the awesome value the Bolt EUV boasts 5 years ago when this review staff named it their 2017 Car of the Year.

The Bolt EUV’s 2021 model offered more interior space, a spruced-up look, and the ability to equip it with the most thorough hands-free driving system currently out there on the market. What could attract buyers to the Bolt just as much as these awesome traits? A massive price cut for the 2023 model! If you count both high-performing models together, the Bolt duo will have their best sales year yet in 2022. Production is scheduled to be boosted from 44,000 this year to 70,000, as much higher demand is anticipated in 2023.

Even the fully-loaded Bolt EUV Premier feels like a bargain from a digital oasis in these manic times, as Kelley Blue Book listed new EVs as selling for more than $66,000 in July. Even with such a low introductory price, the Bolt EUV is rated at a stellar 246 miles of range, with an officially clocked world highway range of 200 miles. This is ample for a spontaneous trip minus the frantic search for a public charging station to keep the journey going. If car manufacturers desire the sight of an electric car in every garage, this is the kind of vehicle we need much more of.

The Bolt EUV is also now an excellent gateway for the world to experience advanced driver-assistance technology options. The Super Cruise system allows you to take a miniature load of sorts off and enjoy hands-free driving on more than 400,000 miles of American and Canadian highways. It only costs a fraction of what Tesla charges for a similar feature, and theirs requires a hand on the wheel. The Bolt EUV will surely please buyers who have grown accustomed to noisier 4-cylinders and variable transmissions that feel just a bit too gummy in the responses department.

Many car review professionals have claimed adamantly that “all EVs are quiet”, but the Bolt EUV’s build quality is a solid and confident step above the rest. The Motor Trend drive testing crew admired how the vehicle didn’t make a single peep on very high-traffic roads near the Motor City itself. Some of the Superior onboard technologies are applications such as a 360-degree camera system, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview mirror that shows you if your view is becoming blocked.

Everyone here at Jim Butler is keen on looking out for our customers in a manner that also protects your resource in the form of the pocketbook. This model may not be as flashy as billionaires and influencers on luxury yachts, but we admire the hard-working families right here in Missouri that deserve their first viable stab at clean energy and efficiency!
