Deck-The-Halls Dominator & Wallet-Friendly Warrior: The 2024 Chevy Trailblazer Unveiled

Roomy seating, abundant cargo space, and light off-road capability are traits that customers are as keen on as a side of delicious Cranberry sauce with turkey this fall here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis! For a very snazzy subcompact, the Chevy Trailblazer boasts a quite roomy interior and a pumpkin-pie-worthy allocation of modern style. Front-wheel-drive models use a continuously variable automatic transmission, while all-wheel-drive models feature the 1.3-liter 3-cylinder paired with a 9-speed automatic.

The 2024 model boasts a mid-cycle update that features a completely revised front end, new wheel designs, and two new exterior hues to choose from. A high-definition rear camera and cruise control now come standard across the lineup, along with some excellent new features inside to make the holiday drive worthy enough to double-check your wish list! Despite its compact appearance, the cabin has a quite generous amount of passenger room. The rear seat is more than enough space for last-minute gift-wrapping duty, with over 38 inches of headroom and 39 inches of legroom.

The entry-level Trailblazer LS is prepped for the light-spotting and yuletide of the coming season with manually adjustable front seats, and the Convenience package offers an 8-way power driver’s seat with 2-way lumbar. The Active and RS trims now gain heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a very convenient rear seat folding center armrest. The need for large screens has been very pressing as of late since drivers have taken to expecting current models’ interiors to rival what they would enjoy at home. There’s also a standard customizable 8-inch digital instrument cluster and push-button start, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

All trims will be a roving and sweet productivity hub, thanks to Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and there’s a poised-and-ready pair of USB chargers right up front. Nicely colored trim and chrome accents add a great-looking aesthetic to higher trim levels, and the dash design brings attention to the modern digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen. Stepping up to the Activ and RS trims offer faux leather to spruce things up to a higher-end aesthetic. The RS also adds red stitched accents and a flashier flat-bottom steering wheel.

If full-on escaping the coming winter landscape happens to be your thing, you can even accommodate long items such as a surfboard after the front passenger seat is folded flat. The Edmunds.com auto review team claimed that their ideal and holiday-ready version of the Trailblazer is the LT trim, which adds tinted windows, keyless entry, and heated side mirrors. They recommended the all-wheel-drive version since it is paired with the more capable powertrain. One satisfied owner right here in Missouri claimed that she has been delighted with her “fuel efficient, peppy vehicle that handles like a fun baby Camaro!”

The Carbuzz.com staff gave high marks for the Trailblazer’s interior, with its new dashboard design to accommodate the larger new screens. Thanks to a 7.5-inch ground clearance’s greater height than a regular sedan, the step-in provides simple access to the cabin. This review team also was very adamant about the legroom that is much more spacious than astute rivals such as the VW Taos and Honda HR-V. A seven-speaker Bose audio system is optional on the top two trims, while the base-level LS still features power accessories, keyless entry, a compass display, cruise control, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, and a flat-folding front passenger seat.
