Assembly Required—Chevy’s 2026 Tahoe & Suburban Hit the Line in Style

2025 Chevy Suburban

We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates straight from the heart of Chevy country! After a stunning refresh for 2025, the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban are rolling into 2026 with even more to love—and we can't wait to get you behind the wheel here at Jim Butler Chevy of St Louis

If you’ve seen the 2025 models, you already know they brought serious upgrades: bold new looks, enhanced suspension tuning, a newly available diesel engine, and next-gen tech like a massive 17.7-inch infotainment screen and GM’s game-changing Super Cruise hands-free driving system.

Now, here’s what’s coming next.

Mark Your Calendar:

Chevy plans to kick off production of the 2026 Tahoe and Suburban on September 8, 2025, with dealer orders starting as early as July 10. (Keep in mind—these dates may shift slightly.)

What’s New for 2026?

While the big changes landed in 2025, the upcoming 2026 models will still see thoughtful refinements. One change we’re hearing? A fresh coat of paint—Polar White Tricoat is expected to replace the previous Iridescent Pearl option, giving these SUVs an even sharper look.

Engine Options That Mean Business:

Whether you want V8 muscle or diesel torque, the 2026 Tahoe and Suburban deliver. You’ll have three powerful engines to choose from:

  • 5.3L V8 (355 hp, 383 lb-ft)

  • 6.2L V8 (420 hp, 460 lb-ft)

  • 3.0L Duramax I6 Diesel (305 hp, 495 lb-ft)

All of this rides on Chevy’s trusted T1 platform, built at the GM Arlington plant right here in the U.S.
